2Q Festival Lincoln is a brand new inner city, live music festival, that will take place across a number of venues throughout Lincoln’s city centre on Saturday 28th October 2017.
Organisers behind the event started 2Q Festival in Derby in April 2016, an event that sold out and entertained 1200 gig goers across 6 venues in the centre of Derby and led to being shortlisted for two awards (Best New Festival and Best Metropolitan Festival categories) at the UK Festival Awards. In April 2017 2Q Festival returned to Derby with more venues a 50% increase in ticket holders. Over the two years 2Q Derby have had the likes Milburn, Reverend and the Makers, Temples, Tom Grennan, Fickle Friends, Vant and Black Honey to name a few.
One of the organisers Ian Evans said ‘We are excited to bring 2Q Festival to Lincoln. We want to create the same positive vibe that we feel from the Derby event. Lots of live music fans enjoying a full day of entertainment in venues and spaces they may not previously have been. We have seen the positive impact the Derby event has had for helping bring some of the venues and organisations together to focus their efforts into turning the spotlight on their city. We hope to bring the best line up possible and also work with local and regional artists to help show what Lincoln has to offer presenting customers with an exciting day of music and discovery. ‘
Further details of which venues will be involved and line up information will be released soon. 2Q Festival are releasing a limited amount of Student Discount Early Bird Tickets available now from the Lincoln Student Union priced at £17.50. General Early Bird Tickets have also been released priced at £20.00.
